Sporting KC ran their losing streak to five games on Saturday night in Portland, falling to the Portland Timbers 2-1, leaving them just one point ahead of their 2023 pace. Here are the stats and milestones from Saturday night.

In the 61st minute, Tim Melia hit the 25,000 minutes played mark for KC in all competitions. He’s the 5th player to reach that milestone.

Melia made his 261st appearance in MLS competitions for KC, breaking his tie with Kerry Zavagnin for 4th all time on that list.

In the 61st minute, Andreu Fontas hit 10,000 minutes played in league play for KC. He’s the 25th player to reach that mark.

Daniel Salloi made his 230th appearance in all competitions, tying him with Jimmy Conrad for 11th all time on that list.

In the 8th minute, Johnny Russell passed Benny Feilhaber and moved into 14th place all time for league minutes played for KC. He finished the game with 13,131 minutes played.

At 34 years, 47 days, Russell became the 17th oldest player to appear in or start a game in league play and in all competitions for KC, passing Paul Rideout.

Felipe Hernandez made his 46th substitute appearance in all competitions, breaking his tie with Ryan Pore for 10th all time on that list.

Hernandez made his 45th substitute appearance in MLS competitions, tying him with Khiry Shelton for 7th all time on that list.

It was his 42nd substitute appearance in league play for KC, tying him with Shelton for 7th all time on that list.

Marinos Tzionis made his 41st substitute appearance in all competitions, tying him with Gerso Fernandes for 14th all time on that list.

It was Tzionis’ 39th substitute appearance in MLS competitions, tying him with Salloi for 13th all time on that list.

It was his 39th substitute appearance in league play for KC, breaking his tie with Soony Saad for 12th all time on that list.
