It was a rough weekend for two of Kansas City’s professional soccer teams. Sporting KC failed to win for the seventh straight game and lost their second in a row at home. The KC Comets meanwhile saw their season come to an end on Monday night in New York in a 7-6 overtime loss to Utica City FC in the play in round of the MASL’s Ron Newman Cup playoffs. The one good result for KC teams was Sporting KC II picking up their first regulation win of the season, 2-1 over Los Angeles FC 2. Here are the stats and milestones from the games.
