For the Glory KC is back (just like we said we’d be back) with the 23rd episode of the show.

On this week’s second episode, Sheena and I can’t quite let go of that Sporting Kansas City versus Seattle Sounders game, but we do move on and preview this Saturday’s match against the Philadelphia Union. We break down some stats from Philly, including their incredible home run that just came to an end against Orlando City SC last weekend. We also answer some listener questions centered around SKC.

Plus, we dive into a preview of the home opener for the Kansas City Current who will take on the Portland Thorns in a rematch from the 2022 NWSL Cup Final. Not to be left out Sporting KC II played their home opener, and the Kansas City Comets made the playoffs!

Here is a quick rundown of topics (and approximate start times):

  • A little more on Sporting KC vs. Seattle – 2:32
  • Sporting KC vs Philly preview – 3:24
  • Listener SKC Questions – 18:39
  • KC Current vs Portland Thorns preview – 30:15
  • Digital Crawl – 41:07
