This past weekend saw a pair of 2-1 results for Sporting KC and Sporting KC II with the two teams splitting the results. On Saturday, SKCII got their first home win of the season topping Real Monarchs 2-1 on a late goal by Anthony Samways. On Sunday, the first team fell 2-1 to Austin FC. Here are the stats and milestones from the games.

Sporting KC

The loss was KC’s 7th of the season in league play at home, tying the club record for losses at home in a single season (non-shootout era).

Daniel Salloi made his 238th league appearance for KC, breaking his tie with Kerry Zavagnin for 6th all time on that list.

Dejan Joveljic scored his 11th goal in all competitions at Children’s Mercy Park this year, that’s the most in a single season at home since Dom Dwyer scored 13 in 2015.

The 11 goals at Children’s Mercy Park for Joveljic is the most in a single season in league play since Dwyer scored 12 in 2014.

Joveljic’s goal gives him 17 across all competitions in 2025, tying him with Miklos Molnar in 2000 and Dom Dwyer in 2015 for the 3rd most in a single season in all competitions in club history.

Sporting KC II

Nati Clarke made his 70th appearance in league play for KC, breaking his tie with Jahon Rad for 4th all time on that list.

Maouloune Goumballe made his 50th start in all competitions for KC, he’s the 12th player to reach that mark.

Making his 50th start in all competitions tied Goumballe with Tyler Pasher for 11th all time on that list.

In the 21st minute, Goumballe passed Rad and moved into 10th all time for league minutes played for KC. In the 47th minute, Goumballe passed Adrian Zendejas and moved into 9th all time on that list. He finished the game with 4,273 minutes played.

Tschantret made his 40th league start for KC, tying him with Sebastian Cruz for 18th all time on that list.

Tschantret made his 41st start in all competitions for KC, tying him with Cruz for 19th all time on that list.
