I understand why Gadi isn’t here, but I wish he was. I’m just afraid that the Israeli organization is going to pull a Mexico and hurt Kinda more by saying he’s fine. Hope we can take down Inter Messi FC.

KCOutsider

I want a win here so badly. As amazing as Messi has been, I’m so sick of the media obsession and it would be truly sweet to knock Messiami back. Don’t care about the asterisk.

jdkus11

Lol, look at how empty that stadium is without Messi.

KCOutsider

Lotta empty seats at Inter Bandwagon

KCOutsider

I was just typing up a comment about all the good ball movement, then Gutierrez goes and unleashes that awesome setup for Salloi. Really nice to have a player crashing the net, hockey-style, it felt like that wasn’t happening during the crap part of the season.

jdkus11

Let’s go! Earlier I wanted us to miss the playoffs because I was mad at PV, but I can’t help but want it now that we’re so close.

Steve

anyone know how salloi wasn’t offsides on the goal? I’m happy for the goal, but our house didn’t celebrate because he sure looked past the line when the shot was taken

KCOutsider

The replay I saw on the broadcast made it look legit (if close), I’ll have to watch it more closely later.

jdkus11

Yedlin kept him on 100%.

Chad Smith

Yeah, it’s close, but I think Yedlin keeps him on too.

jdkus11

Dang Tim, that was as unnecessary.

Josh Wallace

I know they got the penalty goal, but Inter Miami have not played well at all. That goal was a gift from SKC.

jdkus11

Absolutely. And we’ve had the better chances, we just need to put it away

KCOutsider

Unfortunately SKC hold the copyright on Points Dropped as Better Team

KCOutsider

Yeah. Like that.

KCOutsider

And like that.

Wes

Tim’s such a nice guy he couldn’t let Miami’s goalie be the only one with a very stupid decision.

Josh Wallace

Farias should’ve gotten a yellow for simulation. He didn’t even get touched.

jdkus11

Okay GUTI! That was filthy

Josh Wallace

Ahhh I really wanted Russell to take the shot there. He was in a really good position to launch one in the left corner. Also, Guti is giving the ball away WAY too much.

jdkus11

So frustrating. This is what I get for being excited by this team.

jdkus11

Fontas has to be one of the biggest wastes of space on the back line. Glad we got scored on because he though it was a better use of his time to complain to the ref.

David Greenwald

This was one of the most egregious mistakes I’ve ever seen.

KCOutsider

Remember the days when no lead was safe against SKC? Those were fun.

kcrews123

That shouldnt have been a handball. It was obvious ball to hand.

Then with Busquets, good awareness from him, but come on, any other time in that moment when the ref is talking to a player, and then the balls gets grabbed/purposely hit from that from that player and is immediately played without the ref giving any go ahead, it’s not allowed and called back. Elfath has to do better on both those calls.

I agree, AND as the commentators mentioned, Fontas cannot let go of that ball. If anything throw it to the other side of the field, but don’t let it go. Once he gave that ball back he took the chance of putting it in the ref’s hands.

Josh Wallace

This is just rough. We’re playing with a double pivot in Walter and Radoja but neither are winning second balls and both are playing with zero urgency. For the love of everything holy PV inject some energy into the game.

David Greenwald

We have no impact subs. I watch other teams around the league bring in guys who inject pace and technique into the game to change things. I’ll credit Vermes for making 5 subs but we don’t have a string pulling midfielder to bring in off the bench (at least not with Gadi hurt/on national team duty).

This team needs a big overhaul.

kcrews123

We should have had a point since their third should have never counted, but that point aside, this team can’t get out of it’s own way.

20 points dropped from a leading position this year. 20. With even half of those salvaged, we’re in 2nd place.

With a win tonight, we’d be in 9th, only 1 point behind the team we’re playing 2 more times in the next 6 games – that’s 2 huge 6 point games. Those games would put us in direct contention with Houston, whose we have another 6 point game with.

A win tonight and a draw next week would have been pretty positive, because that would set us up well to win the home games and have a shot. Right now, I think we have about a 10% Chance of making it.

And talk about a lack of any intensity. You’re down 3-2 for the final 12ish minutes, push! There was so much standing around, passing backwards, etc.

It felt like they didn’t come out of the locker room at halftime. No urgency. No focus.
